I got up early this Monday morning and left for the golf course. Lately the weather has not been so good and when it was raining I just grabbed my 7-iron and 3 balls and off I went. With just one club, which can even be used as a putter! - I was able to cover the first 9 holes of our golf course in a little over an hour. Then a quick shower and off to work.

Today the sun was shining. The sign said that the course is now open from 06.30, so tomorrow I can be there even earlier. As I arrived on the course, the dew was shining like silver and the rabbits were running around in the fairway bunkers and jumped into the bushes as I approached.

I forgot to bring a camera this time - there should always be one in the golf bag - so I cannot show you the sight of the large egret that took off and flew over the green as I stepped up to the tee at the second hole.

But the image is still on my mind.
