It had taken me almost three months of practice and I had still not set my foot on the actual golf course. From the pitching green I was able to see the golf players moving off towards what I guessed was the first hole and in the distance I could see another flag that I did not know what belonged to.
As our pro finally let us enter onto the course on the last day of our training lessons we knew that this would be the test we had waited for. We were to prove that we were able enough to play a round of 5 holes and score the necessary 10 Stableford points. But we did not know what the golf course looked like.
We were excited and it was raining.
